Wine refrigerators

A good wine refrigerator is indispensable in any restaurant, bistro, eatery or for the wine lover who wants to store and present his red and white wines in a professional manner.

What is a wine refrigerator?

With a wine cooler you will take your guests' experience to a new level, storing the wines in the perfect way will make connoisseurs notice the taste and smell of the wine. Bottles of wine can be stored longer under ideal conditions in a wine air conditioner or wine storage cabinet. To keep the quality of your wines as good as possible, there is a special UV-resistant glass in the door of a wine cooler that ensures that the sun or artificial light cannot affect the taste and color of the wine. The motor of the cabinet includes vibration-free compressors and special feet to minimize cabinet vibration. Humidity is also an important aspect, it is important that the storage area is not in a draft but can be ventilated. Too humid an environment can affect the wine's aroma, and too dry again can cause oxidation of the wine. A climate closet helps you ensure all these aspects.

Keeping wines at the ideal temperature

Sometimes a good bottle of wine comes your way, such as in a specialty store or a good restaurant. You decide to buy a box, but drinking up is not the immediate goal. Storing the wine in the best way possible so that its flavor and color can be preserved as much as possible is important now. Some wines also become tastier and more complex if you keep them for a while. In that time, all the different parts have time to react to each other. For this, the storage temperature between 10 and 13°C is very important to allow the development process to proceed properly. If stored at too high a temperature, the wine will not develop as well and that would be a shame!

Types of wine climate cabinets

With choosing the right climate control cabinet, a number of aspects are important, namely the amount of bottles, the space you have available, and whether you want to store different types of wine in the same cabinet. If you want to store red wine in the same cabinet as your white wine, the best choice is to choose a storage cabinet with 2 separately adjustable temperatures.
The cabinets feature pull-out drawers so your bottles are always easily accessible.

A bottle of wine is best stored lying down. Keeping the bottle lying down keeps the cork moist and prevents it from drying out. This is important so that the bottle remains tightly closed during storage and that the cork does not crumble while opening the bottle.
