Wall coolers

The wall refrigeration unit, also known as a wall refrigerator or wall display case, is an essential piece of equipment in the world of refrigeration and food presentation. These innovative refrigeration units are designed to keep products such as beverages, meats, dairy and many other products fresh and chilled as well as conveniently presented to customers. Besides being very orderly, wall-mounted refrigeration units are also super space efficient. In fact, wall-mounted refrigeration is the ideal way to fill otherwise empty space against a wall. Wall coolers are therefore often used by supermarkets, butcher shops, cafeterias and other catering establishments. In these businesses, they then not only keep products at the right temperature, but also entice customers with the attractive displays that look better than a bare wall.

Wall chillers for your business design

As mentioned, in addition to keeping products fresh, a wall-mounted cooler also provides a nice look to the business. A wall cooler can contribute to the décor of your business in several ways. For example, a small wall cooler or display cooler can be used to fill an empty corner in a store. A larger size wall cooler is ideal for use in a business with counter sales. Both display cases then reinforce each other and together form a beautiful whole in the store. For example, in a butcher shop or bakery, customers look in front of them in the refrigerated display case and in the background is a large wall-mounted cooler with the salespeople in between. Yet another application you will often find in supermarkets where wall coolers with glass doors sometimes fill entire walls with all kinds of different products. Wall coolers are ideal for this purpose because they efficiently fill the space and become part of the shelf structure in the store.

Types of wall coolers

Wall coolers come in a variety of applications, and each one adds to a business in a different way. Therefore, it is important to look carefully at the number of types, but especially at the different sizes of wall coolers. Wall mounted coolers come in a few types such as with or without glass doors and with or without a night curtain. What really makes the difference in wall-mounted coolers is the size. There are wall-mounted coolers that are just big enough to display a few cans of soft drinks, but there are others that cover the entire wall of a supermarket. So take a good look at what size best suits your business and the needs of the customer.

New and used

At Horecacentrum Brabant, we offer both new and used wall coolers. We live in a fast-paced world that is constantly evolving, so the technology behind industrial equipment such as wall coolers is also constantly being improved. If you want to make sure that your wall chiller has the latest innovations and is optimally energy efficient then you should definitely opt for a new wall chiller. Furthermore, with a new wall chiller you have the advantage that you are the first user and thus it still looks spotless.

Used wall coolers on the other hand are a lot cheaper to buy and can often last just fine for years to come. A used wall cooler is as is so you know what you're getting. Used wall coolers still offer the same space efficiency and cooling capacity. Furthermore, in terms of appearance, a wall-mounted cooler often lends itself well to being installed in any type of business. Also, a nice conversion can often make a used wall cooler look like new again.
